FMA Joins Global Initiative Against Unlawful Finfluencers
The FMA joined 17 global regulators in the second annual Global Week of Action Against Unlawful Finfluencers beginning 20 April 2026. Canada Initiates Expiry Review of Anti-Dumping Finding on Concrete Reinforcing Bar from Algeria, Egypt, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Singapore, and Vietnam
The Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) initiated an expiry review on April 20, 2026, of its anti-dumping finding on concrete reinforcing bar from seven countries. The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has accordingly launched an expiry review investigation to determine whether the expiry of the finding is likely to result in continuation or resumption of dumping. The CBSA will issue its determination no later than September 17, 2026.

The Canada Border Services Agency initiated an expiry review investigation on April 21, 2026, pursuant to the Canadian International Trade Tribunal's expiry review of finding NQ-2020-005. The review covers hot-rolled deformed steel concrete reinforcing bar (rebar) from the Sultanate of Oman and the Russian Federation to determine whether the expiry of anti-dumping measures is likely to result in continuation or resumption of dumping. The CBSA must make its determination by September 17, 2026 and issue a Statement of Reasons by October 2, 2026.
DFSA Makes Three Rule-Making Instruments Effective April and July 2026
